The Fall Checklist

October 22, 2017

Hi everyone! I've been meaning to make a post like this for a while now because I feel like it can be really helpful for people who are looking for a fall wardrobe refresh. So first off, I feel like a grey sweater is an essential because it's a great layering piece for those chilly fall days!

The jean jacket. This one is lined with fur so it keeps me sooo warm and toasty! I also am in love with the embroidered roses. This is a great layering piece to have as well.

A flannel is also such a fall essential as well. I love way it really give some texture to an outfit. This too is also a really great layering piece to throw under some cardigans and sweaters to give extra dimension!

I love the way the flannel looks peeking out of a classic white sweater!

The hunter green color is definitely a fall staple in my opinion! I have it in a pretty silk blouse and also this slouchy sweater.

This leather jacket is seriously the love of my life. I have worn this baby so much- it really goes with anything and everything while also keeping you warm.

A blanket scarf is a great way keep warm on cold nights and easy to take off if it's warmer throughout the day.

Can we talk about berets for a sec?? Okay so last year when I watched Under the Tuscan Sun (for the hundredth millionth time) with the stunning and amazingly talented Diane Lane, there was a scene where it was Christmas and she was wearing a beret and I fell in loveee with the way it looked. I grabbed a black one from h&m a while ago but for some reason I didn't like the way it looked on me.. it was a tad intense. But I picked up this grey one from Primark and I really love it! I think that since it's a lighter color it just looks a little less bold and flatters my head a little more. I can't wait to wear it once the snow falls.

A fuzzy vest: this one is the coziest lil thing and feels like you put a fluffy cloud on your body. I love being able to layer this piece over a bunch of things in the fall.

Leather booties: these are one of my favorite investment pieces I've ever purchased. They're from Cole Haan and they are so so durable and will last me a very long time. I wear these babies all the time- with my black skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, leggings... they are really so worth the price.

I just bought these Converse Shoreline slip on sneakers and they're one of my favorite shoes I've ever owned in my life. They are so easy to get on and off fast and I love that they're black. (P.S- the boyfriend jeans I'm wearing are so great and at such an amazing price)

FAUX fur boots. I don't own any UGG boots just because I don't really agree with how they make their products... but these faux ones are great for cold weather and perfect for lounge days.
