About

Hello & welcome to my cozy little corner - where this space essentially acts as a (virtual) leather bound journal - with coffee stained pages and ink smudged letters among thoughtfully curated articles of my ideas, values & reflections in an attempt to make sense of this beautifully complex life we were all gifted.

When I started blogging back in 2014, I was young & naïve. I felt like all I needed to portray online was a cute outfit with some links to similar pieces. But as the years have come and gone, I feel there is so much more to life than a new pair of Louboutin's or a YSL bag.

Life is so much more complex than that. As a result of taking a break from blogging for a few years; I’ve turned back to the internet in which many of us have estranged relationships with - facing this constant ebb & flow of detaching and reattaching to the online world.

So - I’m taking this time now in my life to organize my thoughts, share my feelings & connect with like-minded individuals through the articles of my blog. After graduating college in 2019 with my bachelors in Fashion Merchandising and moving from Boston to south Florida, it somewhat feels as though I have lived a few lifetimes since then. I’ve developed spiritually, mentally & physically which has led me to be able to define my life's values. I am starting to slowly but surely understand the purpose of my life - and it’s within these life lessons and divinations that I would like to illuminate my findings & share with others who may be going through something similar.

I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned so far in life & one that centers around most of my thoughts is the idea that…

“Everything happens for a reason.”

I know it’s such a cliché quote, but over the years I have truly seen on so many occasions that if I hadn’t gone down a certain path that I thought was right for me at the time, I would have never ended up where I am now. Every move that you make brings you that much closer to being aligned with your true authentic self; living out your soul's true purpose.

I also feel that self care is the most important aspect in life and should come before everything.

What you’ll see on the blog -
  • Wellness - journal prompts, meditation, self-care, nutrition, religion, yoga/exercise
  • Style, Beauty & Skincare - sharing my personal style has always felt significant to me, its own art form of expression. Same with makeup & skincare, feeling my best by enhancing my own features is essential in my life.
  • Interior Design - I’m pretty sure in my past life I was an interior designer - I am constantly inspired by home design & frequently create collages inspired by different design styles. We are also in the process of moving so there will be lots of design content.
  • Travel - I’m from NH so I frequently travel back and forth from south Florida to Boston and everywhere in between. Think Rhode Island, Maine, Cape Cod, Nantucket summer & lake house vibes.
